A group of 13 individuals embarked on a 2200 km journey across South Africa in 5 electric cars, traveling from Thursday, October 10, to Sunday, October 13. Their goal was to assess South Africa’s readiness to embrace new energy vehicles as a viable mode of transportation.

South African Auto Week kicked off with an engaging Media Day featuring a Press Conference hosted by naamsa. The naamsa Board presented the highly anticipated State of the Auto Industry report, a comprehensive overview of the South African automotive industry’s rich heritage, tracing back 100 years.
