As the South African automotive industry marks a century since 1924, naamsa is gearing up to commemorate this historic milestone with the following initiatives:
Preparing for the evolving mobility ecosystem. How will tomorrow’s car sales representatives engage with a customer on the dealer-floor? As the future of mobility evolves, automakers and dealerships owners alike will need to rethink their traditional operations to appeal to customers looking for customisation and connectedness.
The frequency and intensity of disruption. Commercial vehicle companies are forced to think differently about their value proposition and supply chains. Given these changing dynamics, how should commercial vehicle companies prioritise and position themselves for success?
The Automotive Trade Manual [formerly known as the Export Manual] is an annual publication compiled and produced by naamsa, is an acknowledged source of South African automotive trade data. The publication provides a comprehensive overview of the export and import performance of the South African automotive industry under the Automotive Production Development Programme [APDP] and APDP Phase 2 [APDP2].
For the fourth year running, Absa will partner with naamsa to deliver an exclusive executive networking platform for auto Captains of Industry across the entire value chain to connect and break bread together over a gala dinner.
