  • the inaugural SA Auto Week 2022 was activated as a 10-in-ONE event;
  • for 2023, we are proposing a 4-in-ONE event;
  • other assets previously implemented as part of the SA Auto Week will be considered and implemented separately once funding for them is secured;
  • participation confirmations to be finalised by end of April, with contractual requirements concluded before end of June 2023.

Pre-Activation Direction

naamsa will implement four [4] Thought Leadership Roundtable Discussion Series as a build-up to the SA Auto Week focusing on each topic identified as part of our Priority Areas for 2023. These will be held in the three [3] provinces, namely:

  • SA Transition to New Energy Vehicles – Pretoria, Gauteng Province;
  • Just Energy Transition – Gqeberha, Eastern Cape Province;
  • Logistics and Infrastructure – eThekwini, Kwazulu-Natal Province; and
  • Transformation Beyond Compliance – Sandton, Gauteng Province.
